Cara Cek Link Rusak di Blogspot dan WordPress – Link rusak pada suatu website adalah hal yang sering terjadi.
Hal ini bisa dikarenakan berbagai faktor, seperti kesalahan saat memasukkan link pada artikel, situs yang anda rujuk sudah dihapus, dan masih banyak lagi.
Perlu diketahui bahwa link rusak pada sebuah blog berimbas pada menurunnya performa blog di pencarian google. Jangan menganggap ini hal sepele, namun jika anda biarkan dalam jangka waktu yang lama, hal ini akan sangat buruk.
Banyak sedikitnya jumlah link rusak juga menjadi sinyal bagi google untuk menilai baik buruknya suatu website. Sebelum ini terjadi, anda wajib melakukan pengecekan link pada website anda, apakah ada yang rusak atau tidak.
Pada artikel ini, akan saya jelaskan beberapa tutorial cek link rusak di website, baik blogspot maupun wordpress. Simak sampai selesai ya!.
A. Cara Cek Link Rusak
- Kunjungi situs broken link checker. Anda bisa mengetiknya pada kolom pencarian google.
- Pada hasil pencarian teratas nanti muncul situsnya, klik untuk masuk.
- Pada homepage nanti ada sebuah kolom untuk memasukkan alamat blog, masukkan alamat blog tanpa awalan http/www, contoh: dewailmu.id.
- Selanjutnya klik find broken link. Nanti akan keluar security code/captcha. Masukkan kode dan nanti ada 2 pilihan, pilih yang Report distinct broken links only, kemudian klik find broken link now.
- Proses pencarian link rusak hanya sekitar beberapa detik, nanti jika sudah maka akan muncul hasilnya.
- Catat atau ambil gambar screenshoot tadi, jika belum tau caranya berikut cara screenshoot pc dan smartphone cepat dan mudah.
- Setelah tercatat. Maka segera perbaiki link rusak tersebut pada webmaster google.

B. Cara Kedua
1. Blogspot
- Masuk ke webmaster google, bing, yahoo, yandex, dan webmaster lain yang sudah anda daftarkan.
- Pada menu crawl/perayapan cari crawl error, nanti ada pilihan Dns, server, dan url. Jika ada kerusakan nanti akan muncul angka, nah klik pada tab yang rusak, pada bagian bawah centang link yang rusak dan pilih tindakan perbaiki.
- Ada banyak yang rusak biasanya, perbaiki semua url dan kesalahan yang ada pada webmaster untuk membebaskan blog anda dari link rusak.
2. WordPress
- Untuk wordpress sangat mudah karena hanya membutuhkan bantuan plugin.
- Instal plugin Broken Link Checker by WPMU Dev
- Setelah terinstal maka klik Aktifkan.
- Jika sudah, sorot menu Pengaturan dan klik Link Checker.
- Jika sudah terbuka, nanti pada tab general akan muncul status link yang error, dan jika tidak ada link error maka tidak akan muncul.
- Apabila ada link error maka buka semua link rusak, ada pilihan not error, dismiss, discard, dan unlink. Pilih discard atau unlink, maka nanti link rusak itu akan hilang.
- Terus pantau setiap hari untuk mencegah menumpuknya link mati.
Untuk pencegahan lebih lanjut, pantau perkembangannya di webmaster atau pada wordpress bisa melalui plugin yang sudah saya sebutkan di atas. Jangan biarkan berlama-lama, karena nanti kalau sudah menumpuk maka biasanya anda akan malas untuk mengatasinya.
